Splint therapy involves the use of a custom-made oral appliance that is worn during sleep to reposition the jaw and alleviate stress on the temporomandibular joint. Physical therapy can also help to alleviate pain and improve jaw function.
We take a multidisciplinary approach to TMJ treatment, working closely with other specialists such as physical therapists, neurologists and rheumatologists to ensure that our patients receive the most comprehensive care possible.
